Dr. Janelle (Hynes) Goss, DC, MS, CSCS, hails from Shelbyville, Kentucky. She earned her undergraduate degree at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky, before attending Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri, where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a master's in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. Dr. Goss's research includes studying how spinal manipulation affects interoceptive signaling and neuromuscular function over both short and long terms, investigating how physical activity can lower cardiovascular disease risk in rural children by enhancing heart health and reducing factors like obesity and high blood pressure, and examining how various aspects of female health—such as physiological, hormonal, and psychological factors—impact athletic performance and physical activity.
