This course is designed as a 100% online asynchronous course to master and utilize various passive therapies in conjunction with rehabilitation principles through the lens of strength and conditioning in clinical practice for Chiropractic and Physical Therapy professionals and students.

This course is NOT a basic course.
During the course we will review relevant concepts in anatomy and physiology. These will not be covered in detail.
The course will cover the use of Dry Needling, Shockwave, Cold Laser, DNS, FRC, SFMA, FMS, and Strength and Conditioning in the management of orthopedic and sports musculoskeletal injuries and dysfunctions in the adult population.
The course is designed to place heavy emphasis on practical principles, development, assessment and practice. Participants will have to submit written & video assignments for a grade.
Each participant will be expected to complete and sign a waiver in order to practice Dry Needling on a live partner. (Must have a valid Dry Needling Certification to needle).
PREREQUISITES
*Active malpractice insurance (If you are covered by Employer /Clinic/Company/University/College malpractice insurance, then you can also take the class)
*Signed liability waiver by all attendees. Female attendees must sign to certify they are not pregnant for Dry Needling, Shockwave and Cold laser purpose.
*Pre-professionals (students) must be enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic or Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and must've completed at least 1/3 of the program.
OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
- Have a thorough understanding of the loaded hip, knee, ankle and foot in a variety of sports like running, dance, gymnastics and weightlifting.
- Understand normal and abnormal muscle physiology.
- Identify precipitating and perpetuating factors in foundational movements.
- Identify movement variants, dysfunctions and injury risk in sports population
- Properly assess each joint and tissue identified in athletic movements.
- Understand and apply strength, conditioning and rehabilitation principles in clinical practice.
- Develop thorough and efficient programs for patients.
About the course:
• Lectures and resources are available upon purchase for 365 days.
• Each participant is responsible for completing and submitting assignments in a timely manner. Participants will have twelve (12) months to complete the program from the date of purchase. Failure to complete the course in the allotted timeframe will result in the forfeit of the certification and participant may not receive full credit for the course.
• Majority of our labs are experiential, which requires all participants to practice on a live participant.
• Class materials like needles, cold laser, shockwave, etc. are not required to complete this course.
• Participants must complete all online lectures, videos and assignments from the online modules accordingly.
Certificate of completion will only be awarded upon successful completion of 80% or more of the course throughout the allotted time after all submissions have been graded.
Our PRO10 Lower Extremity Course is PACE approved for Chiropractors and meets the APTA requirements for Physical Therapists in Missouri. Individual approval for online courses may differ per state. Inquire with your state before enrolling in the course. Individual state accreditation may be requested in some cases for a $100 additional fee.
